Kickstart Project Technology

                             

                 For my kickstart project, I want to focus on Artificial Intelligence. AI quickly emerged its way into becoming a huge part in peoples lives. AI is technology that enables computers and machines to stimulate human learning, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, creativity and autonomy. I never quite understood how AI came to be about and am intrigued on the topic of how these various databases work together to make decisions. One of the reasons I am interested in AI is because in my opinion I feel like it is taking over the world. I feel like people rely on it so heavily nowadays, that people don't even think for themselves anymore. I too am a victim of this and can find myself using AI for many different purposes in my everyday life. We have already seen AI make huge impacts on our healthcare systems, workforce and education. Another reason AI interests me is the controversy it is creating regarding academics. Ever since AI has become more prominent there has been increasing guidelines for students and how they should use AI. Being a college student now I rely on AI a ton for ideas and if I am struggling with a certain assignment. I'm interested to see how schools and universities will adjust to this, ensuring their students are still doing authentic work. One of the aspects of AI that I would like to learn more about is the algorithm and how it knows what to put on my feed, when and how to get the information across to me. On the other hand, this  has been a red flag to me regarding my privacy and if they track my activity across other platforms. It is such a vast topic and I think it definitely going to be the future of the world.  I wonder how software developers plan to evolve AI and the various forms of technology they will create in the coming years.
